Meet Our CEO

As the proud CEO of Care for Lives, a company whose mission is to provide empowered homecare, Vanessa Chambers leads a team of compassionate professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of the patients they serve.

Vanessa’s inspiration for championing the innovative concept of gold standard multidisciplinary healthcare service that includes family supports, community health education, and corporate wellness programs all under one caring umbrella, began when she experienced first-hand how important multi-layered support in healthcare is. When Vanessa cared for her mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, and for her dying estranged father, she experienced the associated physical, social, and financial strains. As an RN, Vanessa knew to keep self-care at the forefront of her journey, however she gained further empathy when realizing how truly stressful and emotional the process of caring for, and sometimes losing, a loved one is. Vanessa vowed to help others who walked the same journey, and Care for Lives was born.

A Registered Nurse of 14 years, Vanessa, R.N., received her License Practical Nurse (LPN) license in 2010 from an Adult Practical Nursing Program in New York. Vanessa then received her Associates of Nursing from Helene Fuld College of Nursing, and went on to earn her Bachelors of Nursing from Western Governors University. Vanessa is proudly licensed in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, California, and Connecticut; a list that continues to grow as she works to expand Care for Lives across America.

Vanessa’s experience serving at-risk communities, including those on house arrest or incarcerated, and her experience working with the wealthiest families in Manhattan, taught her that everyone needs quality care and kindness. Vanessa realized that homecare was the one setting she could take her time, connect with, focus on, and truly support her patient’s; she knew THIS was the model she wanted to improve upon and share with all Americans.
